Just under an hour before the all-island curfew began on Friday, June 19, a 38-year-old woman of Trelawny was shot to death at her home.
According to the police, the woman is Tamara Geddes, who is also called ‘Tam’. She is a resident of Reserve district in the parish.
Reportedly, she was shot in her bedroom at around 8:45 p.m. and was robbed of cash and cell phones.
It is alleged that she was killed in front of her 10-year-old daughter.
No motive has been established for the killing, however, the Falmouth police are investigating.
