Water Supply Disrupted To Several Corporate Area Communities

A large number of communities in St Andrew are having water supply disruptions today because of what the National Water Commission (NWC) says is emergency repair work on a pipeline along Constant Spring Road. Also a broken main along Perkins Boulevard is affecting additional communities.

The NWC says, as a result, a number of communities are likely to experience low pressures or no water conditions until the stated repairs are completed.  It is estimated that these repairs will be completed by 6 pm, this evening, Sunday, October 6.

Areas Affected include  Constant Spring, Norbrook, Cherry Gardens, Liguanea,  Manor Park, Shortwood, Eastwood Park Gardens, , Calabar Mews, Mannings Hill Road, Constant Spring Road and Gardens, Half Way Tree, Camperdown Terrace, Havendale, Valentine Gardens, Meadowbrook, Queensboro and Roehampton, Meadowbrook Estates, Patrick City, Duhaney Park and surrounding areas.

Motorists and pedestrians are also being urged to apply caution when travelling in the vicinity of the Constant Spring and Shortwood road intersections.
