Woman Killed In Munga Honourable Crash Now Identified

High-riding dancehall artiste Munga Honourable was involved in a three-vehicle accident that left a Canadian national, a woman, dead. The woman, Tashana Cumbermack, a 26-year-old woman of a Canadian address, died from injuries sustained when her vehicle was involved in a three-vehicle collision on the Mandela Highway in the vicinity of Ferry, St. Catherine on Saturday.

Reports from the police’s Corporate Communications Unit (CCU) are that Munga, whose given name is Damian Rhoden, was driving a Toyota Axio motor car in the vicinity of Ferry about 5:50 am when his vehicle veered out of control and crashed into a Suzuki Vitara.

Police say the Vitara then crashed into a Hiace bus in which the Canadian woman had been travelling. Munga and a male passenger in the Axio were admitted to hospital and have subsequently been released. Munga has been riding high with his ‘Nah Mad Ova No gal’ hit, but his career has been stunted by a murder charge that is still hanging over his head.
