Prime Minister Andrew Holness, has announced that the work-from-home orders will end on the 31st of May for all Jamaicans, except those 65 years and older.
He explained that the government, understanding the rate of infection of the virus on Island, workers are expected to go back to work come June 1.
A few guidelines will be issued based on communication with the Private Sector Organization of Jamaica (PSOJ).
The move is to bring back economic normalcy while still observing health care protection.
The PM did note that he will have more details surrounding the end of the work-from-home orders by next week.
